Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based practice effective in reducing stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, as well as chronic pain and increasing physical and emotional health. Class meets for 8 Saturdays beginning on Satuday, January 13th from 1-2:30 p.m. Includes a workbook. Maximum of 5 participants permitted and minimum of 4 participants needed. Meditation and gentle yoga are integrated into the program as well as the science behind mindfulness. This practice accepts IL BCBS PPO and this insurance may cover cost of the program (after yearly deductible has been met).
